Paris Pre-Wedding: Jadyn and Kevin

There is always something inherently romantic about the city of Paris, no matter if it is raining, sunny, no matter if you are sharing your walk through the streets packed with tourists, or strolling through a market with just a sparse handful of locals amidst you. I'm not sure if it is the cobblestone pathways, the french language that fills the atmosphere along with the smell of freshly baked bread and the violin players that seem to be dotting the many corners of this city... or is it perhaps the local food and wine which so richly coats our palettes with joy whenever we visit the right restaurants. Or maybe it is all of the above. Whatever it is, this city seems to pull lovers from all over the world, and I have to admit, even when Ju and I made our first visit in 2008 when we went for our honeymoon, despite my cynicism for what the real travellers told me was an overrated city, I still loved Paris, and left the lights and sights with very fond memories.
So you can imagine my delight when Jadyn and Kevin chose Paris as their city, to cement their love story in photos, and I got to be the person behind the camera. It was a rainy kind of day, and a little chilly, despite it being late into spring, but that didn't stop us from visiting some of the sights, walking through the streets, and making some of the below frames :) I can now understand why there are so many pinterest quotes with the statement "Paris is always a good idea" - I think, no matter how cliched it may seem, everyone should visit this place once in their life :)
Which is why, I'm so excited to be going back to this place (along with London!!) in May this year! If anyone happens to be there then, or wants to join us while we are there, I'd love to hear from you!! :D Oh and....stay tuned for tomorrow's post as I'll be posting some travel photos from this visit then! :D
The view from montmartre...
Strolling through the laneways of Jardin Du Luxembourg.
Quick change of clothes and a pit stop to warm up with some french hot chocolate drinks at La Creperie :D
And then when the sun went down, we did some quick photos around The Louvre and The Eiffel Tower :) Quintessentially Paris :)
